乐姓有两种发音,一读如「音樂」的「樂」,一读如「快樂」的「樂」。
起源
- 以官位為氏,出自西周初期的官職樂正。《礼记·王制》中记载:“乐正,崇四术,立四教。”隶属于春官府司管辖。
- 据《姓氏急就篇》和《唐书·宰相世系表》记载,周宣王时,宋国的国君宋戴公生衎,字乐父,他的后裔以表字中的“乐”字为姓,即宋国乐氏。
- 源于姬姓,出自春秋时期晋国大夫乐王鲋之后,属于以先祖名字为氏,即晋国乐氏。其后有乐霄。
- 明朝时期,有许多蒙古族人都姓庆格尔泰氏,汉意就是“欢乐、快乐”,在明朝中叶即有取其汉义冠汉姓为乐(le)氏者。
