碰瓷源自北京地區的方言用語[1],指騙徒故意讓他人摔壞假貨,並要求以高價真品或高額金錢賠償的詐財行為。後來也引申為故意製造假車禍等,借以敲詐勒索他人的行為[2]。假車禍又可以分為車對車或人對車。前者通常是為了詐領保險金;後者則大多為了勒索醫藥費、慰問金。
